Juanita M. Ludwig Lincoln
Born to Minni and Lawrence D. Ludwig on Feb. 27, 1919, Died — died Feb. 10, 2003, at Providence Hospital in Everett.
She was born in Seattle where she graduated from Roosevelt High School. On March 8, 1944, she married Ray Lincoln (who preceded her in death in Dec. 3, 1986) and they made their home in Seattle. In 1948, they moved to Iowa, where in 1950 they started their family and then in 1955 they returned to Seattle. In the early ’60s they started visiting Whidbey Island. While coming to the Island on weekends and summer vacations, they built their house on Sunlight Beach and in 1966 moved permanently from Seattle. At this time, they started their own plumbing business in Clinton.
She loved to garden, read, cook and can fruits and vegetables. After the death of her husband, she got her canine companion Katie, who she enjoyed taking to the beach.
She is survived by a son, Scott Lincoln and his wife, Candy, of Clinton; a daughter, Ronda, of Coupeville; and a granddaughter, Shannon, and her husband, Jason, of Clinton.
