Kim Elizabeth Taggart of Oak Harbor passed away Thursday evening April 10, 2008 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Kim was born in Sacramento, Calif. on Jan. 20, 1959, a daughter of Elmer and Eva Schroeder.

Kim graduated from Vanden High School, Travis Air Force Base, Calif. in 1977.

Kim loved to do crafts, she crocheted numerous afghans and scarfs for everyone, but her favorite was drawing caricature cartoons.

Kim was a collector of key rings and a lover of all animals.

She leaves her mother Eva Schroeder of Langley; her husband David of Oak Harbor; daughter Cherese of Langley; son Joshua of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister Carol (Paul) Cupan of Ohio; brother Mark Schroeder of Langley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her father Elmer Schroeder, preceded her in death.

A memorial service for Kim will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 18 at the gazebo in Windjammer Park in Oak Harbor.

Arrangements are under the directions of Visser Funeral Home, Langley.
