A blood drive will take place at U.S. Bank in Langley next week.

Bloodworks NW, formerly Puget Sound Blood Center, will be taking blood from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a one-hour break beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16 in the bank parking lot.

To donate, one must be in good health, 18 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds, and haven’t donated blood in the past 56 days. Minors between the ages of 16 and 17 who weigh 114 pounds can also donate with a signed parent or guardian permission slip.
