“Sunday, Jan. 16At 9:37 a.m. a Tompkins Road, Langley, woman reported that someone stole a wood box off her porch.At 10:58 a.m. a Thompson Road, Langley, man reported that someone stole his van from his home.At 9 p.m. a Port Orchard man reported that his boss assaulted him while at a Mutiny Bay address.Note: Between 1 p.m. and midnight on Jan. 16, ICOM dispatchers received 22 calls reporting downed trees or power lines. High winds were to blame for the damage.Friday, Jan. 14At 3:22 p.m., a deputy responded to a three-car motor vehicle accident on Mutiny Bay Road.Thursday, Jan. 13At 12:02 a.m. a Simmons Drive, Clinton, woman reported that someone stole luggage from a guest’s car parked in her driveway.Wednesday, Jan 12At 1:13 p.m. a real estate agent requested assistance in removing a squatter from a Fish Road property. The alleged squatter had parked a fifth-wheel camper on the property.At 5:03 p.m. a deputy responded to a one-car accident on Highway 525 near the Eagles Club.At 5:10 p.m., a deputy responded to a two-car accident on Highway 525 near the Eagles Club.At 9:38 p.m. a deputy pursued a fleeing subject on foot after a driver fled his car during a traffic stop.At 10:45 p.m. a Wilson Place woman reported that her 15-year-old daughter had run away from home.Tuesday, Jan. 11At At 9:05 p.m. a woman staying at a Freeland hotel reported that a man who had just visited her room dropped a .38 bullet on the bed as he left for the evening. When the woman’s boyfriend told the man that he had dropped the bullet, he gave the couple an “evil look.” The woman also reported that since the time the man left the room, a strange green light had been shining through the window.Monday, Jan. 10At 7:52 a.m. a deputy responded to a two-car, head-on collision on Highway 525.At 7:44 p.m. a Deer Lake Road man called to say he wants to donate $100 to the Island County Sheriff’s favorite charity as thanks for a conversation a deputy had with the man’s neighbor earlier in the week.At 10:29 p.m., a deputy responded to a rear-end automobile collision on Highway 525.Sunday, Jan. 9At 2:32 a.m. a deputy arrested a 20-year-old man at a Skye Place address on an outstanding warrant.At 5:07 p.m., a Durham Way, Clinton, woman reported that someone stole the keys from her pickup truck while she was inside a Clinton grocery store.At 8:20 p.m. a Clinton woman reported that her 15-year-old son had just shot a gun at this father. The shot missed and the father managed to restrain his son.At 10:20 p.m. a deputy made two warrant arrests at a Maxwelton Road address. Saturday, Jan. 8At 10:55 a.m. a ferry employee requested assistance from a deputy with a blind, deaf man who had just disembarked in Clinton. The man was trying to tell ferry employees something, but they could not determine what that was.At 8:47 p.m. a ferry worker reported that a drunk woman fell aboard a ferry while it was docking, injuring her head.At 9:06 p.m. a Freeland woman reported that her 14-year-old daughter was out of control and kicking objects around the house.At 9:49 p.m. a Langley girl reported that her mother assaulted and attempted to strangle her. At 10:08 p.m. a Mountain View Lane, Freeland, man reported that someone had taken cash and other items from his home.”
