Whale watching season is on the horizon, and Clipper Vacations is planning a few stops in Langley for whale watching tours.
The San Juan Clipper will make stops at South Whidbey Harbor in March and April in the thick of whale watching season before heading up to the San Juan Islands for excursions. The vessel originally departs from Seattle.
Each whale watching excursion will have approximately 200 passengers onboard. The vessel will arrive around noon and will remain for two hours. The stop is looked at as a boon for Langley businesses, as the layover gives tourists plenty of time to hike up the hill and visit Langley shops and restaurants.
The arrival dates for March are as follows: March 18, 19, 25 and 26. April dates include April 1, 2, 8, 9, 22 and 23.
