Sunday, June 4
6:15 p.m. — A Maple Point Drive caller in Clinton suspects he and his dog have been poisoned and requires a “senior detective in plain clothes” to respond and protect his family.
Monday, June 5
2:08 p.m. — A caller on Smugglers Cove Road advised he found a single barrel shotgun on his property buried near a tree.
2:25 p.m. — A Beachwood Drive caller in Freeland said a neighbor is posting pictures of the caller’s home on the internet because they’re angry about fireworks use.
Tuesday, June 6
8:23 p.m. — A caller on Campbell Road in Clinton reported someone on a “motor scooter” doing about 100 mph on Cultus Bay Road. Another one went by, heading east on Campbell toward the ferry.
Wednesday, June 7
7:30 a.m. — A Saratoga Road caller in Langley said there’s an ongoing issue with a pack of peacocks in the area.
9:01 p.m. — A Saratoga Road caller in Langley called again, reporting peacocks “screaming” at night and in the morning. It happens a lot and nothing is being done.
Saturday, June 10
6:07 p.m. — A caller on Maxwelton Road at South Whidbey Academy said someone broke into the shed and stole some tools.
