Church to ponder about ‘darkness’
Unity of Whidbey will hold regular service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3 at 5671 Crawford Road in Langley.
The title of this week’s talk is “Darkness, My Old Friend.” It considers thoughts of the spiritual life focus on the light of God and the radiance of Spirit.

God given tools to live happy lives
The Christian Science Society will hold service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 3 at 15910 Highway 525.
The service discusses the tools God has given people to build happy, healthy and harmonious lives. In doing so, they are fulfilling their responsibility to “forever reflect, in glorified quality, the infinite Father-Mother God” (Science and Health).
