Falcon boys hoops on winning streak

South Whidbey boys basketball is off to 5-0 start to the season.

The Falcons claimed victories against Sultan, Cedarcrest and Coupeville this past week. South Whidbey beat its island rival 73-12 on Dec. 9. Senior Lewis Pope led the Falcons with 31 points, while sophomore Carson Wrightson was second in scoring with 13 points.

The football team is set to wrap up its regular season Friday when the Wildcats host North Kitsap.
