Four South Whidbey High School swimmers were among the nearly 600 athletes competing at the Mukilteo Invitational Saturday, Sept. 29, at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Ashley Lynch recorded the best finishes by a Falcon by placing 32nd in the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.49) and 33rd in the 100 freestyle (1:02.14).
Katie Zundel finished 52nd in the backstroke (1:14.25) and 55th in the 100 butterfly (1:17.77).
Anna Bennett took 60th in the 100 free (1:09.15) and 77th in the 50 free (29.83).
Sarah Zundel swam to 186th in the 50 free (34.94).
The four placed 46th in the 200 free relay (2:06.46) and 50th in the 200 medley relay (2:19.38).
The Falcons, who train and compete with Kamiak High School, will meet Mountlake Terrace at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Lynnwood Pool.
