On Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, Kalju Kaik, loving husband and adoring father of four children passed away at the age of 60.
Kalju was born March 24, 1959 in Freeport, N.Y., to Harry and Elvy Kaik. Kalju attended a vocational school in New York to get his degree in computer science. He ended his profession as a Senior Systems Engineer at Data Enterprises in Bellevue, Wash.
On Feb. 16, 1989 he married Michelle Theresa Reitz. He gained a stepson, Ryan Habr, raised two daughters, Alicia and Jenna, and one son, Christopher.
Kalju was a kind, soft and loving soul. He was the one to put everyone he loved before himself and would especially drop anything to be there for his children. He loved all animals and would help any animal in need. He loved classic rock and listening to Fox radio. He was well known for his communicative skills; he always had an opinion or something to say about everything.
He was a light in a dark room. Even when he was upset, his main goal was to put a smile on everyone’s face.
Kalju was preceded in death by his father, Harry, and his sister, Christina. He is survived by his mother, Elvy; his wife, Michelle; his four children, Ryan, Alicia, Christopher and Jenna; and several cousins, nephews, nieces and his two grandchildren.
