The Langley City Council voted unanimously Monday night to have the mayor seek easements for a proposed portable toilet project. The target deadline is in April.
April is when the commission heading the project will be able to apply for tourism funding.
Although a location in Seawall Park has not yet been determined for the temporary toilets, transporting and cleaning them may require crossing someone’s property.
Langley Police Chief Donald Lauer responded to Councilwoman Christy Korrow’s concerns about the safety of the structure. He said officers could patrol the potties.
