WhidbeyHealth is reopening several of its primary and specialty care clinics starting Monday, June 8.
According to a press release, these locations include Primary Care Freeland at 5486 Harbor Ave., Women’s Care at 201 NE Birch St., Coupeville and Surgical Care Consults at 205 South Main St., Coupeville.
Health care providers of Primary Care Coupeville will remain permanently at the Cabot Drive location in Oak Harbor. The former Coupeville location will be used for another clinic.
Providers of Primary Care Goldie Street and Orthopedic Care will continue seeing patients at Cabot Drive until further notice.
There will be health and safety protocols in place to protect patients and providers from COVID-19.
Temperatures will be taken before entering the building and patients with symptoms of respiratory illness will be asked to return to their cars to complete their check-in before being escorted directly to a treatment room.
Patients must wear masks when entering the building. Staff will be equipped with personal protective equipment. Social distancing in waiting rooms is expected and enforced.
Each patient is allowed one support person to accompany them during their visit, except in some cases such as surgery or inpatient services. In those cases, patients should speak with their providers.
