Sally Marie Hicks, of Langley, Wash., died on June 7, 2020 after a brief illness. She was 93.
Born in Sheridan, Wyo., Sally Marie Boyer’s early years took her to Wenatchee, Seattle and Anchorage. She was married to William Lowell Hicks for 60 years and had three sons, Jeffrey Lowell, Duane James and Curtis Christopher Hicks. She outlived her husband, Bill, who died in 2006, and her three sons.
Sally made a career in banking, rising from teller to manager while living in California and eventually she and Bill retired to Whidbey Island in 2003.
She is survived by her three daughters-in-law, Lynn Landers, Marie Noelle Hicks and Patricia Hicks; four grandchildren, Kari Schilling-George, Jason Hicks, Mathew Hicks and Sara Villatoro; six great-grandchildren, Jason Hicks, Jr., Kierstin Hicks, Skyler Schilling-George, Kobe Schilling-George, William Villatoro and Elliot Hicks; and one great-great-granddaughter, Adelaide Burley.
Sally as a special lady, loved by everyone who ever met her. She will be deeply missed.
