Allan Palmer Berg died on Feb. 3, 2021, as a result of health complications. Allan moved to Whidbey Island, Wash., as a Seabee assigned to the NAS. After being discharged, he worked as a builder and general contractor. Allan loved the island and stayed for over 40 years. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. July 26 at the South Whidbey American Legion Post No. 141.
