The following calls were gathered from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:

Wednesday, July 21

At 12:13 a.m., a Maxwelton Road resident reported that someone in a hoodie rang the doorbell and ran away.

At 3:27 p.m., a caller on Christie Road reported that a doe had a pink basket around its head.

Thursday, July 22

At 8:42 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle and indecent exposure on Laurel Lane.

At 9:50 a.m., a Saratoga Road resident reported that someone pushed her pickup into the roadway and put a log across her driveway.

At 10:18 a.m., a resident reported that a Coupeville woman was sending birds across the nation that end up dying three days later.

At 11:12 a.m., there was a report that a veterinarian on South Main Street was bitten by a dog.

At 5:13 p.m., a caller on Old Beach Road reported that two dogs attacked his dog. The caller said the owner of the other dogs then sprayed him with a pressure washer.

At 9:01 p.m., a Woodard Avenue resident reported that baskets were stolen off her property.

Friday, July 23

At 2:36 a.m., a caller reported that a person who lives above a bar on Pioneer Way pulled a gun on the caller.

At 8:35 a.m., a resident reported that a kitten was stuck on the roof of an abandoned house on Halsey Drive where many cats are living.

At 1:09 p.m., an employee at superior court reported that someone left multiple death threats for the county prosecutor.

At 4:59 p.m., a Goss Lake Road caller reported that 120 invisible people from the jail were invading her house.

At 8:08 p.m., a caller reported that his wife is talking about equal rights and women’s rights when she should be in the kitchen cooking for her husband.

Saturday, July 24

At 12:19 p.m., a resident reported that people kept cutting the fence and trespassing onto a farm on Parker Road.

At 8:48 p.m., a caller reported being maced by someone at the boat launch at the end of Monroe Landing Road.

Sunday, July 25

At 11:36 a.m., a man on Ault Field Road reported that a woman threw corrosive acid on him. He declined medical attention.

At 12:19 p.m., a caller on Mutiny Bay Road reported that someone blew up his mailbox with fireworks or a small explosive.

At 4:56 p.m., a driver reported that an ambulance was “driving crazy” on Haines Road.

Monday, July 26

At 3:03 a.m., a driver reported that a woman in brights shorts was walking in the middle of Highway 20 near Walmart.

At 4:58 a.m., a caller reported that a “crazy lady” was naked at 7-Eleven.

At 1:48 p.m., a resident reported that a resident of Olympic Drive throws footballs and wrenches at him when he passes by on a motorcycle.

Tuesday, July 27

At 10:09 a.m., an Ault Field Road resident reported that a radiation wave was being used to sedate his nerves. Also, he said a woman was obsessed with him.

At 2:42 p.m., a caller reported that a construction crew on Northeast Jackson Street cut into a water pipe and flooded a ditch.

At 3:32 p.m., a resident reported that “a truck full of people” dumped garbage in the area of West Crescent Harbor Road.

At 6:12 p.m., a caller reported that a man swimming from Mukilteo to Whidbey was separated from his location device and only wearing jeans.

Wednesday, July 28

At 5:35 a.m., a driver reported that a man was kicking a water bottle down the middle of Highway 20 near Welcher Road.

At 9:07 a.m., a caller reported that an injured eagle or hawk was on the side of Highway 20 south of Oak Harbor.

At 10:29 a.m., a resident reported that a dog was chasing a girl on Mutiny Bay Road.

At 10:33 a.m., a Classic Road resident reported that the internet was messing with his life.
