Georgia Wilson Wright passed away on January 14, 2022, and was born in Micaville, North Carolina on April 24, 1934, and lived there until high school when she moved to nearby Marion, NC. While there, she met and married Ernest Wright and the two moved to Raleigh where he attended NC State in forestry.

Their career in forestry took the two of them to Fort Klamath, Oregon and then Union Creek, Oregon; Marblemount, Washington; John Day, Oregon and then Ellensburg, Washington. The couple then moved to Coupeville, Washington when he retired in 1987 and she has lived in the Sierra development ever since. Georgia was an active member of the Coupeville United Methodist Church and especially loved her sewing group. She loved to travel and read and spend time with her three children and families, including Dave and Glennda of Coupeville, Leslie of Coupeville, and Don and Kathy in Pasco.

A memorial service will be held at Coupeville United Methodist Church on April 2, 2022 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Coupeville United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
