Smart financial decisions can make or break a business. With that in mind, the Island County Economic Development Council, in conjunction with the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce, will present a free seminar on financing a business.

Smart financial decisions can make or break a business. With that in mind, the Island County Economic Development Council, in conjunction with the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce, will present a free seminar on financing a business.

The class will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 at the chamber office, 32630 State Route 20, Oak Harbor.

Topics covered during the two hour session include commercial loans, how to use Small Business Administration Loans to finance your business or for capital purchases, plus general information on the services available to local businesses through the chamber and the EDC.
