When I imagine my bright and beautiful daughter and granddaughter working at the White House, I know which presidential couple I will feel “safer” for my loved ones to be near.

Usually, my choice of a presidential couple has been a matter of measuring character, minds, hearts and trustworthiness. This year, with all the tactical clatter, this has been more difficult to measure.

We deserve better from our political servants.
