To the editor:

My husband and I wish to congratulate the cast, crew and production team of South Whidbey High School’s current production of “The Miracle Worker.” We found the production to be well-staged, well-cast with engaging performances by the budding group of talented teens. Especially note-worthy is the sensitive, effective portrayal of Helen Keller by eighth-grader Katrina Layton. Together, the ensemble presents an inspiring story not to be missed. Make plans to attend one of the final performances this weekend!
