To the editor:

Congratulations. The (Enquirer/Globe) Record has sunk to a new journalistic low with today’s headline regarding the proposed election in Langley to change the form of government.

The election, if it happens, is not about getting rid of the mayor but about changing the form of government. If outsiders picked up the paper they would think it was a recall referendum.

Please Record, your readers deserve better. The headline as written has little to do with the reasoned article that follows.
