The Aug. 7 letter from Fred Wilferth concerning Joe Biden’s sincerity and honesty left me quite confused. Mr. Wilferth laid out a familiar mishmash of confusing conspiracy, fiction and speculation. All the while, Mr. Wilferth missed the whole point of Biden’s choice to withdraw, service to the country.

We’ve all heard candidates boast about courage, it’s been some time since we’ve actually seen a candidate be courageous and honest. If Fred doesn’t think Biden’s actions are good for the nation, then I encourage him to look in the mirror and not vote for Biden. Kamala 2024!
