Bill Merrill feels the opinion page is balanced left because he sees the cartoons being mainly liberally biased and feels that the opinion page should be more right biased.

Hmmm. I see the liberal cartoons as counterpoint to all the right biased letters by Mr. Merrill, Joe Kunzler, Mr. Wilferth, Joe Morehead.

Seems fair.
