I read with interest the article in the paper about our local hospital district’s ongoing financial woes. The article mentioned numerous times that COVID had a direct impact on the problem.

It only took me a second or two to come up with a brilliant plan to resolve the issue. Let’s take the money from COVID relief that the county can’t seem to decide how to spend, and bail out the hospital to some degree. Seems that would be a more appropriate use of those funds than giving raises, etc.
