In response to Mr. Seyfried’s letter, “Paper should limit letters backing Trump” on March 22: It is apparent Mr. Seyfried gets what little information he has from the leftist media. He castigates Trump supporters and praises Joe Biden, who suffered dementia all during his presidency, leaving who was actually running things in question a fact well-covered after leftist news organizations were forced, after years of cover-up, to admit to Biden’s failings.

Mr. Seyfried states that Trump letter writers don’t have any facts, so I offer some. It is a fact that Biden’s final approval polling was in a dismal mid 30s and Democratic party approval standing at an all-time low of 30%. Fact, that although Congress appropriates money for government agencies, bureaucrats within those agencies, such as USAID, had freedom to waste millions of taxpayer dollars on leftist ideological causes that don’t further American interests and are being uncovered by DOGE on an almost daily basis.

Democrats are traditionally for bigger government to exercise control, thus government is bloated with employees. When and if there is a government shutdown or a severe storm, non-essential government employees are told to stay home. If they are non-essential, why do they have jobs and what do they do? Prior to its dissolvement, USAID served up to 192 countries with 10,000 employees. Why so many employees and what did they do?

Fact, Democrats regularly shower the term racist on conservatives yet embrace the very racist DEI and policies that reward on skin color instead of merit or qualifications. Fact, that leftist loonies are attacking Tesla dealerships as seen on nightly news. Fact, leftist judges and sanctuary states oppose ICE, want to keep criminals and illegal border crossers in our country and not deport them.

Democrats claim Musk, the richest man in the world, is greedy. Fact, see the placards on TV. He has done more for Americans and our country, at no benefit to himself, than any Democrats who keep trying to tear it and him down. Fact, that Musk, uncovering the fraud and waste favored by Democrats, makes green vehicles and brings astronauts home from space.

Democrats instead push wokeism, transgender appreciation, allow men in women’s sports, preach hatred of country and unfettered migration, and remain silent on Tesla car arson and anti-Semitism.

Biden’s delivery on his promises with the IRA caused massive inflation by pouring money on top of money people already had ready to spend after COVID recovery, making huge demands on scarce goods thereby raising prices. But were Biden’s policies really his or was he orchestrated by behind-the-scenes progressive, unelected bureaucrats telling him what to do, say, and sign?

Apparently, things are facts to Mr. Seyfried only if they support his views. Censorship, as Mr. Seyfried requests, is but another Democrat desire to stifle opposition. Fact, tariffs are bringing billions in new foreign investment money into the country, yet Democrats oppose absolutely everything the present administration is doing to attempt betterment of the country and its citizens. They offer no vision, no plan, oppose everything, so you must wonder what it is, exactly, they stand for other than gaining power and irrational hatred of the president.
