Editor,
Monday evening I was driving home from work along Madrona Way when I hit an ice patch and skidded over the edge towards the water. My truck rolled and I was left hanging partially upside down from my seat belt with my head resting on the collapsed roof.
The fire department responded and, with excellent care, extracted me out through the windshield. They were fabulous and the EMTs that examined me (no injuries) were very caring as were the ER staff at the hospital. I was very blessed and am very, very grateful to all.
