Editor,
Proud Boeing has lost its way, but we in the Pacific Northwest, United States, and the world, need Boeing. Quality and treatment of workers are related. With the strike ended and production resuming, the company will get back to its proud quality roots. It will once again lead the world in aerospace.
It wasn’t wrong to build the first composite aircraft, the 787, and its global supply chain.
It wasn’t wrong to strive toward a super-efficient 737 Max.
It wasn’t wrong to build a new spacecraft.
The company must sincerely apologize for the loss of life and stress that have come from these innovations and the mistakes that accompanied them. The company will learn.
Because proud Boeing will rise again, I purchased a share of stock and an equivalent amount of machinist’s union gear. I am so excited for the future of Boeing. We need you!
