Editor,
I regret believing that I had no more to say about “King” Biden, alas, he never ceases to prove that he is a small man.
I have little sympathy for his son but understand a father’s love for his children and wanting to protect them from harm. I know his desire to mitigate any consequences that a wayward child might incur, but his lies before the election and his reason for claiming a change of mind in pardoning Hunter is a work of fiction.
That the opposition looked into the shenanigans of the Biden family is no surprise since Joe, the Justice Department and mainstream media took pains to cover up the dirt. The lies perpetrated about Hunter’s laptop opened a plethora of questions that the above-mentioned parties ignored and dismissed. Just get Joe elected and the scandals will disappear was the mantra. Anyone else who lied on their income tax returns would in fact have to pay the tax and penalties, perhaps spend jail time. Hunter’s case was slow walked so that the statute of limitations ran out on the most serious charges. When the Justice Department carved out a deal with Hunter’s lawyers, it was such a sweetheart deal that the judge laughed it out of court.
All of the wrangling only proved the point that there is a two-tiered system that Joe and company relied on. To believe otherwise is delusional, but Joe has lied throughout his career. The only principle he holds is that family comes first. Just like a mafia family, they are above the law.
One question: “Is there evidence of corruption that Hunter has that he could use against his father?” Opens up the question of blackmail.
So fine, Hunter is off the hook, Joe can slink off into oblivion. I just hope we can recover from his disastrous four years.
