As a Baby Boomer who has lived through my share of tumultuous times, I am nevertheless shocked at what is happening to our democracy in the first weeks of the Trump administration. Although there are no doubt those amongst us who are cheering on the dismantling of long-standing institutions, I sincerely believe that the majority of Americans do not want an unelected multi-billionaire making our country’s policy. We did not wish for a president who disregards the rule of law. We are a democracy, not a fiefdom.
