It was a great day for a rally….

I would like to commend the Indivisible Whidbey organizers of the “Hands Off” rally on April 5, held at Ault Field Road and Highway 20 in Oak Harbor. The event was well attended, organized, peaceful, enthusiastic and provided a positive opportunity for the community to express their concerns about current government actions. It was wonderful to see so many friends, neighbors and strangers 1300 strong stretching along the side of the highway. I was also heartened by the overwhelming support of the hundreds of passersby.

Thanks too to all the volunteers, local police and the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island for their cooperation and support.
