Island County has certified primary election results for the South Whidbey Fire/EMS Levy Lift at a total of 6,300 yes votes making the winning margin 65.19 percent.

Such a landslide affirms our local fire district by any measure, and all of us with South Whidbey Fire/EMS thank all of you who voted to help us be there to help you when you need it.

Such a thunderous endorsement humbles us as we will continue to merit your ongoing support.
