Hi, my name is Clara Larsen and I am sending this to inform and invite you to South Whidbey High School’s first annual art show at WICA. It will be on June 4th at 4 p.m. and will showcase the advanced art students. My teacher, Mr. Mirkovich, has guided and helped me in the process of putting on the show with the hope that it can continue in the years to come.

This is a wonderful opportunity to show the island our young, aspiring artists and give students the opportunity to have their art in a real show. Refreshment and hors d’oeuvres will be supplied with the donations from our sponsors: Prima Bistro, The Star Store and Mukilteo Coffee Roasters. These funds also helped with the printing of our poster, designed by my classmate Maggie Reams, which we will be hanging very soon.

I am very excited to be able to announce this year’s high school art show and encourage you to come and see all the wonderful art my fellow classmates have created.
