To the editor:

Love and beauty come from the simplest things. A look, a touch, a genuine smile. Make someone happy with a simple act. The rewards are many and it will make you feel glad.

Take a walk in this universe. Look at the stars, the sun, the moon, the formation of the clouds. The wonder of it all gives one a chill. It is yours for the taking, free and clear.

Look at nature; the awe of it dares to mix a color that is not already there. Let’s count our blessings, be it many or few. We all have had them, but some of us have lost our view.

So let us smile at people, say a kind word. Slow down our pace and listen to their words. We have the power within us to make a happy world with love, beauty and grace.
