PUD vs. PSE. My view.

Reduction in rates. Long range.

Better service. Probably.

Initial cost. Very high.

Local jobs to support local economy. Yes.

Headaches. Severe.

Learning curve. Steep.

Availability of lower BPA rates. Eventually.

Investment in green energy. Unlikely in the near term.

Cost of borrowing money. Probably higher than PSE.

Access to experienced technicians from PSE. Unlikely.

Power outages. Same.

Bottom line. Leave well enough alone.
