Re: “Larsen’s vote is lame” in the Oct. 14 Record, Mary Jane Aurdal-Olson reprimands Rep. Rick Larsen for voting no on whether to cut off funding for ACORN. (They received about $3.5 million a year.)

According to The Nation magazine, Rep. Alan Grayson and the Project on Government Oversight have compiled a list of corporations that fit the defunding criteria — among them, Blackwater, KBR and Pfizer, who have allegedly defrauded “We the Taxpayers” by hundreds of millions of dollars.

It will be interesting to see which way Rep. Larsen votes on future measures to fund or defund other government contractors.
