To the editor:

I say vote no on the luxury pool idea.

We seniors and homeowners are having a hard enough time keeping our homes.

With taxes and the cost of living rising every year, we don’t need the additional burden of paying for a luxury pool that probably less than 5 percent of the people on the island will use.

I say to the people who want a pool so badly, you finance it without coming to the overburden taxpayer!

We seniors and homeowners need to come together and vote no on this luxury pool idea.
