LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Freeland needs a new name

Editor, I propose that the name of Freeland be changed to Freedom. After all, the land is no longer free. There is a Freedom, Calif., a small town near Watsonville, but seems like there is room for another.

I propose that the name of Freeland be changed to Freedom. After all, the land is no longer free. There is a Freedom, Calif., a small town near Watsonville, but seems like there is room for another.

It would be interesting to see how many others think this is a good idea. Also to collect good reasons for the change from readers. Reasons for not changing are too many to print.
