Rikki Moress’ letter in the Wednesday Record about Hearts and Hammers was heart warming and inspirational.

There are needs in our community, country, and our world. Each of us can do something to create a better world. The United States signed on to the Sustainable Development Goals this last year and the completion of these goals will take all of us. These goals are universal, so it doesn’t matter where your live. The Reach Every Mother and Child Act is a good example of a step towards completing these goals. This life-saving legislation will work to end the preventable mothers and children in our world. One action to take is to call or write our senators and representatives who already co-sponsored this bill and ask them to take the next step and pass it. Together we can truly make a difference.
