I will have my horse wear poop diapers when dog owners have their dogs wear poop diapers. Otherwise, I’m happy to pay a fine.

People, if you are those horse owners who don’t believe in making your steed walk while pooping, you create a nasty pile, it attracts flies and people have to walk around it. On the other hand, when you spread it out, there is less to accidentally step in and attracts fewer flies. At least many horse owners, as members of the Back Country Horsemen, are stewards of many trails. I don’t see a coalition of dog walkers (or walkers) willing to get in there and keep trails cleared of post storm blow downs.

Fortunately, my horse will poop on command and I ask her to do that before trail riding and trailer loading. You can train yours too.
