To the editor:

We compose the Superior Court Bench for Grays Harbor County. We fully support and endorse the re-election of Judge Vickie Churchill to the Superior Court of Island County.

We have had the opportunity to work with Judge Churchill when she assumed the bench in January 1997. Island County has been extremely fortunate to have a person of her caliber and character to serve in that capacity.

Judge Churchill has worked diligently not only in Island County but statewide to improve the judicial system in all aspects, including juvenile, criminal, and family law areas. Her work has been acknowledged by all members of the Superior Court when she was elected to serve as the president of the Superior Court Judges’ Association.

Thus we encourage all of the citizens of Island County to retain Vickie Churchill as their Superior Court Judge.
