To the editor:

I was remiss in not crediting Michael Stadler with the beautiful photography of the stone age woman in Saturday’s article, as well as the portraits of the other figures in the slide show and talk on Sunday in the library.

Our community events are so much of a community effort. That’s what makes Whidbey living so special.

My heartfelt thanks go also to Margaret Sorrel, Christin Chaya, Sharon Spencer, Darby and Phoebe Huffman and many others whose generosities contributed greatly to the success of the exhibit. (It remains up in the Freeland library until the end of July.)
