To the editor:

Daughters of Norway, Ester Moe Lodge No. 39 would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful community for their support at our recent Nordic Fest.

We were again thrilled to see so many attend and spend money buying items from our various vendors, from our Norsk Kafe and our Bakeri og Butikk. Those attending were able to enjoy a variety of free entertainment by Talia Marcus, Tre Norsk, Yours Truly, the Randy Bradley Band and the Young Skandia Dansers.

Thank you to our island friends and neighbors, along with many from the mainland, for helping to make Nordic Fest another success.

We would also like to thank those providing venues for advertising: The many Chambers of Commerce, churches, post offices, stores, shops, restaurants, community bulletin and reader boards, newspapers, radio stations … the list goes on and on.

Our lodge says a loud “MANGE TAKK” to all of you and we look forward to bringing you Nordic Fest 2009.
