To the editor:

It is this observer’s opinion that you won’t want to miss “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” showing through Nov. 8 at South Whidbey High School.

Under the skillful musical direction of Dana Linn and the incredible choreography of Suzanne Kelman, Whidbey Children’s Theater has collaborated with SWHS to bring you a real “stand up and cheer” Broadway version of this great story set in the 1920s. Thirty five eighth- to 12th-graders have been pouring their hearts out every day for weeks preparing this feast of enjoyment for your family.

I firmly believe this musical will leave you feeling happy, exhilarated, tapping your toes and totally entertained, and you are investing your dollars in our most precious resource, our children. I know you will enjoy yourselves “Thoroughly.”
