To the editor:
As many of you probably don’t know, National Nurses Week began May 6. Having been a patient at Whidbey General Hospital a number of times over the years, each and every one of the nurses I have encountered has been cheerful, professional and caring. I received treatment in the Medical Ambulatory Care (MAC) Unit in the past and to say the nurses there are cheerful is an understatement.
Of particular note is Ann Bell who I do not know personally but she stands out as one who is always upbeat and goes out of her way to cheer one up. So thanks, all you nurses out there, for your loving care. You are very special indeed.
