To the editor:
Two years ago, in a letter to the editor, I mourned the mowing down of the wild sweet peas and other beautiful flowers along Bush Point Road.
Last year I rejoiced that county workers waited for the wildflowers to finish blooming before those roadsides were mowed.
This year the flowers are beginning to bloom again — the sweet peas, the poppies, the daisies — and I dearly hope that their beauty will be allowed to remain through their growing season.
With gratitude to the hardworking county road maintenance folks,
Cynthia Trenshaw
