LETTER TO THE EDITOR | The hospital changed its name, so what already?

Editor, Enough already about the hospital name change! Since 1970 our small community hospital has provided excellent health care to our residents. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated staff and professional services available to all of us. It’s time to have a new name and logo to go along with the beautiful new building that is currently under construction.

Enough already about the hospital name change!

Since 1970 our small community hospital has provided excellent health care to our residents. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated staff and professional services available to all of us. It’s time to have a new name and logo to go along with the beautiful new building that is currently under construction.

Skagit Regional Health, Evergreen Health, Peace Health, Harborview Medical Center… all these names reflect the many services available under the umbrella of these organizations. Many people don’t seem to realize the many health care resources available on this island that are already part of the hospital.

The new name, WhidbeyHealth, will more accurately reflect the services that our great hospital has to offer.
