To the editor:
I am disappointed but not surprised that the county auditor caved on sticking to clear policy. The late entries for two candidates should not be included in the voter’s guide.
If these two cannot achieve the basic fundamentals to enter their statements for the voter’s guide within the timeline given, how could the voters expect them to perform as a county commissioner? The field has already been narrowed in my opinion.
This is a wonderful lesson for the future voters of our region to follow. If you whine loud enough you will get your way. And it sets a precedence for future elections.
