To the editor:

I was at the beach on May 23 and I saw a lot of trash in the water.

I saw soda cans, water bottles, forks, Oreo containers and even balloons.

The reason these are bad for the fish is because the fish think it’s food and they eat it and get very sick and sometimes even die from the chemicals in the plastic.

Well, I hope this letter has told you to be more careful where you put your trash!
