When I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in June 2013, I was unsure where to seek treatment. Should I go to Swedish or Virginia Mason or should I stay close to home? In one of the best choices ever, I elected to use Whidbey General Hospital.

My everlasting thanks and gratitude to the following special people: My outstanding surgeon, Dr. Leah Oman; at the MAC oncology clinic, my wonderful oncologist Dr. Wendy Wang, and my awesome chemo nurses Susan, Lisa, Jackie, Candy, Marta, Ann and Trish.

Thanks also to those in MAC support, including Renee, Julie, Lori, Dianna, June, Marti and Rosie. You are all top of the line, giving very professional service with a big dose of humor, caring and dedication.

In one of the most serious years of my life, I have never felt more cared for or had more fun.
