LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Whidbey man says voting Democrat is the only way

Editor, When I was in my 20s I worked for social justice and followed my heart when voting for candidates who most represented my values. Hence, I voted for candidates of the Democratic Party. In my forties, at the height of my business career, I used my brain and voted for the candidates whose policies were best for the economic health of the nation. I found I voted for candidates of the Democratic Party.

When I was in my 20s I worked for social justice and followed my heart when voting for candidates who most represented my values. Hence, I voted for candidates of the Democratic Party.

In my forties, at the height of my business career, I used my brain and voted for the candidates whose policies were best for the economic health of the nation. I found I voted for candidates of the Democratic Party.

In my sixties, as I reflect on my political and business life, I am reminded of why I have voted the way I have all these years. So I will continue to vote for candidates of the Democratic Party. I have found this to be true at every level of government.

So, I guess one could describe those who don’t support Democrats this way:If in your twenties you do not vote for candidates of the Democratic Party, you have no heart.

If in your forties you do not vote for candidates of the Democratic Party, you have no brain.

If in your sixties you do not vote for candidates of the Democratic Party, you have no memory.
