To the editor: The South Whidbey Lions Club thanks all who contributed to our White Canes Days May 11-12. Our collections raised about $3,025 to aid our community with money to pay for optical expenses. The funds will provide glasses and medical assistance to neighbors who could not otherwise afford such expenses. Thanks to all of you, many will be able to see again!
